శ్రీ సత్యసాయి జిల్లా ధర్మవరంలో స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల వేళ వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ కౌన్సిలర్‌ అభ్యర్థులు సాయికుమార్‌, పుష్పమణిపై టీడీపీ, బీజేపీకి చెందిన వ్యక్తులు దాడి చేసినట్లు ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి. ఈ ఘటనలో పుష్పమణికి తీవ్ర గాయాలవడంతో ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. నామినేషన్‌ పత్రాలను లాక్కెళ్లారని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఆరోపిస్తూ, అభ్యర్థులకు రక్షణ కల్పించి స్వేచ్ఛగా నామినేషన్లు దాఖలు చేసుకునేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్‌ చేసింది.
Attack on YSRCP candidates in Dharmavaram
Allegations have emerged that people belonging to the TDP and BJP attacked YSRCP councillor candidates Sai Kumar and Pushpamani during the local body elections in Dharmavaram, Sri Sathya Sai district. Pushpamani suffered serious injuries in the incident and was shifted to a hospital. The YSRCP alleged that the nomination papers were snatched and demanded that the candidates be provided protection and allowed to file their nominations freely.
