Our Commitment to Child Safety
YSRCP Connect is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We have implemented comprehensive standards and procedures to protect children and prevent the misuse of our platform.
1. Age Requirements
YSRCP Connect is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 18 years of age. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and all associated data.
2. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on YSRCP Connect:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Content that sexualizes or exploits minors
- Content that facilitates or encourages the sexual exploitation of children
- Content depicting, encouraging, or promoting pedophilia
- Any content that endangers the safety or well-being of children
- Grooming behavior or attempts to establish inappropriate contact with minors
- Sharing or soliciting nude or sexual images of minors
3. Detection and Removal
We employ multiple strategies to detect and remove CSAE content:
- Proactive Monitoring: Our moderation team reviews reported content and suspicious activity
- User Reports: Users can report inappropriate content through in-app reporting features
- Hash Matching: We use industry-standard hash-matching technology to detect known CSAM
- Automated Detection: AI-powered systems help identify potentially harmful content
- Immediate Action: Suspected CSAE content is immediately removed and flagged for review
4. Reporting to Authorities
YSRCP Connect is committed to cooperating with law enforcement:
- We report all instances of suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law
- We report to the CyberTipline operated by NCMEC
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
- We preserve evidence in accordance with legal requirements
- We report to local Indian authorities (Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre - I4C) when appropriate
5. Account Termination
Any user found to be sharing, soliciting, or engaging with CSAE content will face immediate and permanent consequences:
- Immediate and permanent account termination
- Removal of all content associated with the account
- Ban from creating new accounts
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities
- Cooperation with any resulting investigations or prosecutions
6. User Reporting
We encourage all users to report suspected CSAE content or behavior:
- In-App Reporting: Use the report button on any post or profile
- Email: Send urgent reports to ysrcpconnect.api@gmail.com with subject line "URGENT: Child Safety"
- Confidentiality: Reporter identities are kept confidential
- No Retaliation: We prohibit retaliation against users who report in good faith
7. Moderator Training
Our content moderation team receives specialized training:
- Recognition of CSAE content and grooming behavior
- Proper procedures for handling and reporting CSAE material
- Trauma-informed approaches to content moderation
- Regular updates on emerging threats and tactics
- Mental health support for moderators exposed to harmful content
8. Technology and Tools
We utilize industry-standard tools and technologies:
- PhotoDNA or similar hash-matching technology
- Machine learning algorithms for content classification
- Behavioral analysis to detect suspicious patterns
- Regular security audits and updates
- Collaboration with industry partners and safety organizations
9. Transparency and Accountability
We are committed to transparency in our child safety efforts:
- Regular publication of transparency reports (when applicable)
- Participation in industry safety initiatives
- Continuous improvement of our safety measures
- Open communication with users about safety features
10. Compliance with Laws
YSRCP Connect complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including:
- India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012
- Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
- International laws regarding CSAE where applicable
- Mandatory reporting requirements in all jurisdictions where we operate
