At YSRCP Connect, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.
This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
⚠️ Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted,
you will lose access to all your data, posts, connections, and activity within the YSRCP Connect app.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture, and bio
- Account Data: Login credentials and authentication tokens
- Posts & Content: All posts, comments, and media you've shared
- Social Connections: Your followers, following lists, and connections
- Activity Data: Likes, shares, bookmarks, and interaction history
- Location Data: Constituency, district, and location information
- Device Data: Push notification tokens and device identifiers
How to Delete Your Account
You have two options to delete your account:
Option 1: Delete Within the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the YSRCP Connect mobile app:
- Open the YSRCP Connect app on your mobile device
- Go to your Profile screen
- Tap on the Settings icon (gear/menu icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Read the warning carefully
- Type "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" to confirm
- Tap "Confirm Deletion"
Processing Time: Immediate (account deleted within seconds)
Option 2: Submit a Deletion Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request via email:
- Send an email to: ysrcpconnect.api@gmail.com or reach@impactcommune.com
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Phone number (if available)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- We will verify your identity and process your request
Processing Time: Within 7-14 business days

What Happens After Deletion?
- Your account will be permanently deleted from our systems
- You will be logged out of all devices
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
- Your posts and comments will be removed from the platform
- You will no longer receive any notifications or communications from us
- Some anonymized data may be retained for legal compliance and analytics purposes
ℹ️ Data Retention Note
While we delete your account immediately, some data may be retained in our backup systems
for up to 90 days for security and compliance purposes. After this period, all backups
containing your data will be permanently erased.
Alternative: Deactivate Your Account
If you're not sure about permanently deleting your account, consider deactivating it instead.
When deactivated, your profile and content will be hidden, but you can reactivate it later by
simply logging back in.
To deactivate your account, go to Profile → Settings → Deactivate Account in the app.

⚠️ Final Reminder
Account deletion is irreversible. Make sure you've saved any important data
before proceeding. Once deleted, we cannot recover your account or data.
