తిరుపతిలో నామినేషన్ దాఖలు చేసేందుకు వెళ్లిన వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ మేయర్ అభ్యర్థి, కార్పొరేటర్లపై టీడీపీ శ్రేణులు దాడి చేసి, నామినేషన్ పత్రాలను లాక్కుని చించేశారని ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రీజినల్ కో-ఆర్డినేటర్ భూమన కరుణాకర రెడ్డి, ఎంపీ గురుమూర్తి, ఎమ్మెల్సీ సిపాయి సుబ్రహ్మణ్యం, జిల్లా అధ్యక్షుడు భూమన అభినయ్ రెడ్డి తిరుపతి ఏఎస్పీని కలిసి ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులు నామినేషన్లు దాఖలు చేసేందుకు తగిన రక్షణ కల్పించాలని కోరారు.
Leaders complain to Tirupati ASP seeking protection for YSRCP candidates
Allegations have emerged that TDP cadres attacked the YSRCP mayoral candidate and corporators who went to file their nominations in Tirupati, snatching and tearing up their nomination papers. Against this backdrop, Regional Coordinator Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, MP Gurumoorthy, MLC Sipai Subrahmanyam and district president Bhumana Abhinay Reddy met the Tirupati ASP and lodged a complaint. They requested adequate security for YSRCP candidates to file their nominations.
